Memorial Beach Veterinary Hospital is here to provide superior boarding care for your pets while you are away from home. Dogs & cats are housed separately in climate-controlled & scrupulously clean indoor facilities. We provide safe, immaculate & comfortable lodging; as well as caring and affectionate attention for your special family member. You can have peace of mind that our staff is fully qualified to deal with any medical need should your pet require such attention during its stay.

Facilities:

Dogs are housed in indoor runs. Piped-in music provides a soothing atmosphere. Heated floors insure comfort during the winter months. Pads are provided for added comfort.

Cats are “purr-fectly” quartered in the “Sun Room” which features a large operable skylight for plenty of sun and fresh air daily. Piped-in music & cushion pads assure a pleasant stay.

Vaccines:

Of course, as with all reputable kennels, proof of appropriate current veterinary- administered vaccines are required.

· Dogs need: Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Rabies & Distemper/Parvo

· Cats need: Bordetella, Rabies, Leukemia, & Distemper/Upper Respiratory

We recommend that necessary vaccines to be given several days before admission to enhance immunity if they are over-due or have not been given before. If your busy schedule precludes vaccination prior to admission, our staff can administer the vaccine(s) on arrival.

Arrival and Checkout:

Your pet may arrive here any time from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday. Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Checkout is 1 p.m. daily. We charge for a full day on the first day regardless of the time of arrival. We do not charge for the last day provided your pet is picked up before one o'clock. Charges will be incurred for another full day of boarding for any pets discharged after 1 p.m.. There is a minimum of 2 days.

There are no pick ups or drop offs on Sundays or holidays.

Diets:

We feed Hill's Sensitive Stomach to all our boarding dogs and Hill’s Feline Adult food to all our boarding cats. Feel free to bring your own food or bottled water if your pet is on a diet which you do not wish to be altered.

Medical Conditions:

Since our staff is very familiar with dealing with medical conditions, it does not present any problem to administer medication or other treatments. We can accommodate diabetic animals and their needs for insulin injections and blood glucose testing. There will usually be additional charges in these cases. We can also perform dentistry, surgery or other medical procedures for your pet while you are away. Should specific veterinary care be necessary or if you pet has a serious medical condition; we will need to examine your pet before they board to discuss specific care needs as well as the appropriate fees that will be charged.

Multiple Pets:

We can honor requests to have more than one pet of the same species boarded together, though we reserve the right to separate them since disagreements can occur even between brothers and sisters!

Toys n Stuff:

You may want to bring familiar bedding or toys from home, though we do not encourage this, as loss or damage may occur. Please limit items to one. We do not guarantee the return of any item.

Bathing:

Treat your dog to our "Pet Spa" during their stay. Your pet will receive a soothing bath to clean the dirt, grime, and perhaps fleas of daily living. You'll love the clean soft, cuddly feel when your pet goes home. Baths will be given as time allows. Please schedule an appointment when making your reservation.

V.I.P. Lodging Includes:

· Daily Playtime: Your dog will received one-on-one playtime & exercise 3x daily with one of our attendants. We make sure to give your pet lots of attention & TLC throughout the day.

· Breakfast, dinner & mid-day healthy snack or treat. We feed Science Diet food (or your own brand from home).

· Daily inspection & report to doctor. Any untoward issues either behavioral or physical are reported.

· Immaculate living space. Attendants are constantly monitoring your pet throughout the day.
