High School Students Shadow Technicians & Doctors
As part of Memorial Beach Veterinary Hospitals commitment to the next generation of technicians and veterinarians we hosted two high school to teach them the ins and outs of the hospital. They were with us two days a week for three weeks and experienced everything from laser therapy (pictured learning it below at a Friday morning meeting) veterinary dentistry, surgery, client interaction and the day to day movement of the practice.

SRJC Student Shadow Our Technicians

Once a week during each semester junior college students in the Veterinary Technician Program come and shadow our technicians. While shadowing they get to observe day to day things like blood draws, dentals (as pictured below), appointments and laser therapies. They also get to learn about the pace and what's involved with working in a veterinary hospital and see if it is truly something that they want to spend their life doing.
