Laura has been around veterinary hospitals for much of her life. She got her first job with a veterinarian in 1969 as a kennel cleaner. After 10 years of experience she became licensed as an Animal Health Technician (AHT) in 1979. She has worked in practices around the Bay Area, Forestville, Santa Rosa, and now at Memorial Beach Veterinary Hospital in Healdsburg. Although Laura is mostly retired now, she still enjoys working a day or two once in a while and fills in for us when needed. She never seems to tire of meeting people and their animals. Laura now lives on a ranch east of Geyserville with her husband Tom
and their three dogs, five cats, three horses, and about 65 cows. She has
two sons, two grandsons, and a granddaughter.
