 Kathie
Sceales started at Memorial Beach Veterinary Hospital in July of 1992.
She moved to Healdsburg from the South Bay Area having worked at various
veterinary hospitals while attending U.C. Davis. Kathie graduated from
Davis with a bachelors degree in Animal Science. Two years later she passed
the state licensing exam to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.
Since that time she has completed various continuing education courses
and is also a Registered Veterinary Dental Technician.Kathie
confesses to having a great experience here and enjoys keeping abreast
with new information about medicine, treatments, and surgeries. She is
also an artist and enjoys sketching wildlife. She spent some time in the
past volunteering to help wounded animals at Sonoma County Wildlife center. Her
Australian Shepard mix, Hannibal, and Minx the cat insure that she is not
separated from animals when she goes home. Kathy
was single when first moving here and is now married to Evan. They are
blessed with four children; Corey, Rachel Ross, & Morgan. |
